Especially for being on vacation!

I try to think of vacation as a vacation from me having to prepare my own food... not from healthy eating. So instead of having to grill my chicken and chop all my veggies and add just the right seasonings, someone else does it. And they do the dishes, too!

Hope you have a fun time :)Lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06926887495148083672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6113125483633875827.post-85234535856205835312009-09-05T11:56:52.320-04:002009-09-05T11:56:52.320-04:00Yes, Sandy you can do it. Visiting your space has such a calming influence... it's like spending some time in a tranquil woods or walking along the ocean. It's very nice...

I've been told that I'm making this look easy, but truthfully, I struggle all the time. I catch myself about to do something foolish or scarfing down a meal in less than a heartbeat. I'm getting better, I think, but there's missteps and poor choices thrown into the mix as well.

A good 90% of the time or more, I think I'm on my game. I'm focused and work through why I'm eating, how I'm eating, what I'm eating. That's good enough to make headway, as long as that 10% isn't the old-way crazy eating. Now, my mistakes and miscues aren't quite as bad as they used to be. Progress, I guess.

My advice: slow down. Say your grace and think through the entire process. If it does nothing else, it'll make you appreciate what goes into your mouth more (even if it's not 100% on plan).

Best of luck to you, and thanks again for a beautiful post.Cole Walter Mellonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14792991151019418800noreply@blogger.com
